Pink sandstone and white marble is used for the construction of the temple and it is replete with about 20, 000 statues, floral motifs, arches and exquisitely carved pillars. Chhatarpur Temple is located in south Delhi. It is the second largest temple in India, and is dedicated to Goddess, Katyayani. The temple was established by Baba Sant Nagpal ji, who died in 1998. His Samadhi lies in the premises of the Shiv-Gauri Nageshwar Mandir within the temple complex. This temple was considered as the biggest temple in India and second largest in the world, before the Akshardham Temple. This temple is totally constructed from marble.
