City Palace is a complex in Udaipur. It is located on the east bank of the Lake Pichola and has several palaces built within its complex.   • Jagdish Temple


Jagdish Temple is a large Hindu temple in Udaipur. It is a big tourist attraction; the temple was originally called the temple of Jagannath Rai but is now called Jagdish-ji. It is a major monument in Udaipur. The temple was built with the beautiful architecture that comprises beautifully carved pillars, decorated ceilings, painted walls and lush halls. The two huge stone elephants are there at the entrance, in the main shrine there is an image of Lord Vishnu/Jagdish, Lord Ganesha, Sun God, Goddess Shakti and Lord Shiva respectively.   • Gulab Bagh


Gulab Bagh is the largest garden in Udaipur. Gulab Bagh gets its name from the abundance of rose flowers in it and the garden was also considered of Lotus Pond, and many prominent trees and species of mangoes, guava, grapes, lemon, pomegranate, bananas, litchi, jammun etc. The Garden draws it name as Gulab Bagh due to a lot of variety of roses. Lake Pichola is situated in Udaipur it is an artificial fresh water lake and was named after the nearby Picholi village.  The beauty of this lake has not separated anyone to attract towards it, Pichola Lake is the oldest and one of the largest lakes in Udaipur. How to reach?

By Car

One of the best ways to reach Udaipur is by road because it has a lot of fun. The National Highway offers a smooth ride with plenty of restaurants and Dhabas on the way. The distance between New Delhi to Udaipur is 268 km by road which is approximately less than 4 hour drive.

By Train

There are few trains which are connected with Udaipur Railway Station and as well as connected to some major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.

By Air

The most convenient way to Reach Jaipur is by air. In Udaipur there is Maharana Pratap Airport which is about 21 kilometers away from the city. It has both international and domestic terminal which is well connected to most of the cities across the world.
Popular flights are Jet Airways, Spice Jet, Air India, Indigo, Oman Air have daily flights to Jaipur. Now, flights to international cities like Dubai are also connected from this airport.
